I left 4.07 where it was and installed 4.5 over top of it (in the same
directory).  The new version will find the older one and copies several files to
xxx.old. when it replaces them.  I later ran rm -fr *.old and got rid of all of
them.

This way the link to Netscape still worked without messing around.  It probably
isn't the recommended way but it worked.
