Hi Orlando,

I've done the 5.1 to 5.2 upgrade - others on this list have too.

Upgrading 5.1 to 5.2 does work fine.

It is also easier than installing all the 5.1 upgrades.

Do the upgrade using a 5.2 CD if possible.
The price is US$2.00 from www.cheapbytes.com.

Downloading the 5.2 files is possible, but painful:
. File and directory names must be exact.
. Permissions must be correct.
. Symbolic links must be correct.
. It's 500 megabytes.

You don't need create disk partitions when you upgrade.

After you upgrade, you must check all the *rpmsave files,
and fix things the upgrade missed.
