Yo Jeff,
If you are using a recent version of Pine (4+) all you gotta do is
add one line to your .pinerc file. A sample follows:
############################### Preferences ###########
# List of features; see Pine's Setup/options menu for the current set.
# e.g. feature-list= select-without-confirm, signature-at-bottom
# Default condition for all of the features is no-.
feature-list=enable-bounce-cmd,
enable-full-header-cmd,
expanded-view-of-distribution-lists,
enable-dot-folders,
enable-flag-cmd,
enable-msg-view-urls,
enable-msg-view-web-hostnames,
use-current-dir,
allow-changing-from
The last line, allow-changing-from, needs to be added but you cannot add
it from Pine's setup menu. You have to physically add it to the .pinerc
file of the user you wish to allow to change their from from...
With that said, you really shouldn't be doing this kind of thing
as root.
Brent
