I hope someone can help.

I installed XFree-3.3.1-14.i386.rpm using rpm -i when I probably should
have used XFree-SVGA-3.3.1-14.i386.rpm. This was because this machine
will eventually be connected to a non-SVGA monitor. However, I am setting
this machine up at my desk and it does have an SVGA monitor, which I am
using during the setup. I thought that if it didn't work I could simply do
a rpm -e XFree86 to uninstall the package. But when I do rpm -e XFree86 I
get the message:
/usr/x11r6/bin/mkfontdir is needed by cxhextris-1.0-7
/usr/x11r6/bin/mkfontdir is needed by x3270-3.1.1.6-1
/usr/x11r6/bin/xauth is needed by mkxauth-1.7-7
I tried to find the above mentioned files and delete them first using find
/ foobar and whereis foobar but it doesn't show up. That might not be the
wisest choice anyway. My question is how can I uninstall XFree86 so I can
install the right package? Oh, yes. I also tried rpm --replacepakgs
file1 file2.

Thanks in advance.

Marshall
