Not really a problem, more of a curiosity. When trying to recompile
the kernel with built-in sound support, as opposed to having it as
a module, the compile would stop after compiling the sound driver
directory, and the last thing on the screen was 'sync', and no
prompt. CTRL-C would bring up a make error, but still no prompt.
This isn't really a problem as it doesn't manifest itself when
compiling sound as a module, I'm just curious.
