For some reason, I can no longer mount my floppy disk. I'm not sure
what I did to mess this up. When I try to mount /mnt/floppy I get
the following error message...
[root@tabasco /dev]# mount /mnt/floppy
mount: /dev/fd0 is not a valid block device
A listing of /dev/fd0 gives,
[root@tabasco /dev]# ls -laF /dev/fd0
brw-rw-r-- 1 root floppy 2, 0 Dec 31 1979 /dev/fd0
and I have the following 2 lines in my /etc/fstab
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy ext2 noauto,user 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/a: msdos noauto,user 0 0
Any ideas? This was working fine about two weeks ago.
Thanks,
Carey
