Thanks for the reply. I was at a 4x version and the upgrade moved me to
the 8 stuff. I do not have a named.conf file, but have the old named.boot
file. I will need to get a newer bind book as it is clear that I will need
to create a named.conf file so that I can tone this reporting down to once
a day. I am surprised that my DNS server still works given the sweeping
changes in version.
