I have no problems resizing pine4.02 in an xterm on basically a 
RH5.1 system. Haven't taken the plunge to update yet, so I know 
nothing about the problems with RH 5.2 and Pine 4.04. However, 
Pine should resize with the window. 

Andy: You might try exiting pine and after expanding your window 
type the command "resize" at the prompt. See if that helps.
