Copyright issues.  But check http://www.usatoday.com and go to the
Web Tech link, then follow it to the headlines and read about it.
Also, www.cnn.com has it.  www.microsoft.com does NOT.

Basically, the judge ruled that Sun would have likely prevailed in
the lawsuit, and granted Sun and injuction.  It says that
Microsoft
has 90 days to either fix the Java in Win 98 so it passes the
compatibility tests of Sun, OR remove it from Win 98.  The news
also says that Microsoft may pull out of Java, but is also
exploring
"legal means" (litigation).

The lawsuit is still pending.  The injuction applies pending the
hearing of the case.  It does not look good for MS, but all they
have to do is change the Name of 98 to Win 2000 and they are off
the hook.  Just like they did when they changed the name of 95 to
98.  MS is one slippery greased pig.
