Hi everyone,
I am running RedHat 5.1 and installed apache 1.3.3. Now I have the same
version of apache running on a Solaris box and I can get htaccess to work on
that machine, but under Linux, it does not seem to compile the modules
needed. I am new the Linux so there are something's I am still learning.
but this makes no sense If complied the same exact way, but under two
different platforms, (Solaris 2.6 and RedHat 5.1) and apache itself works
fine, why would htaccess not work.
I have two different book on apache and I have been using under Sun OS
for about 2 years now. I understand apache pretty well so I do not know
what I am doing. The books I have aren't giving me any insight to this
problem and I cannot find anything on the web. Does anyone know of any
resources that I am have missed on the web or has anyone had a similar
problem that could lend some insight??

Thanks in advance,
    Jerry
