New OS/2 game in development!
Visit http://divot.ps.uci.edu/frontier.html for details
About the game:
Frontier (tentative title) is a real-time multimedia networked game
where you compete against other players around the world via the
Internet. The game play is similar to the X-Trek or Net-Trek games
which have been played on X-Window systems for years. Visit our web
site for screenshots and more details.
About the authors:
The authors of Frontier are recent (or soon to be) recipients of PhD's in
Astrophysics and Space Plasma Physics. To date, Frontier has been a
weekend project until we all finish our theses. Our intent is to form
a software company and Frontier will be the first of (hopefully) many
OS/2 products (Not necessarily only games).
The plan:
Frontier will become available during the beta testing period. The beta
will probably cost around $10-$20 and there will also be a demo beta available
for free download. To become a part of the beta program you must visit our
web site and leave your e-mail address.
