2Rud Software is proud to announce the availability of
SpellGuard v1.1c, the spell checker for *all* applications.
SpellGuard is an as-you type Spell Checker for
PM programs, programs that run in an OS/2 Window and
DOS programs in a DOS Window. It can find the
closest match and you can add words to the 56K dictionary.
SpellGuard is fully 32-bit and takes full advantage of OS/2.
It is multi-threaded, takes very little CPU and has a comprehensive
help system. It also includes a dictionary maintenance program and
a program that allows you to add a file of words to the dictionary.
If you are online then you *need* this program!
The new features are:
- international language support - can use full Latin-8 character set
- replace incorrect word with selected correct word
- options are now a notebook
- option to exclude based on exe name
- option to exclude based on titlebar name
- exclude words in ES_UNREADABLE entry fields
- bubble help-right click on window or control
- option to startup minimized
- option to startup off
- option to cycle background color when word misspelled
- can specify what WAVs to play
SpellGuard can be found
- CIS; GO OS2SHARE lib 1, SPLGRD.ZIP (exes,docs,dlls) and
SPDICT.ZIP (dictionary)
- hobbes.nmsu.edu - currently in /incoming, but to be moved to
pub/os2/wpsutils. spellgrd.zip (includes the dictionary)

SpellGuard is shareware and costs $25.
Registering entitles you to free v1.XX upgrades.
