Warpstock '98 Update
--------------------
April 28, 1998
EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS TO DISAPPEAR
There are only 30 days left to take advantage of the special early bird
pricing on Warpstock exhibitor and guest registrations. Now you can attend
the premier conference for OS/2 Warp users at the lowest price ever, but
only if you act quickly. Visit http://www.warpstock.org to learn more
about Warpstock '98, and use the secure online registration form to reserve
your guest pass or exhibitor table.
SPEAKERS STEP FORWARD
High quality speakers are the lifeblood of Warpstock '98, providing
informative and engaging presentations on various topics related to OS/2
Warp. Already Warpstock '98 promises an exclusive: the unveiling of the
newest web browser for OS/2 Warp. But that's just the beginning. If you'd
like to speak at Warpstock '98 there are still some slots available.
Please visit http://www.warpstock.org/exspeaker.htm to find out more about
presenting (or exhibiting) at Warpstock '98.
WEB LOGO POPPING UP
You're starting to see it more and more at popular web sites: the Warpstock
'98 web logo. And, starting soon, Warpstock '98 will include a
"supporters" page where any web sites that carry the Warpstock '98 logo
and/or banner will be proudly displayed. If you'd like to pick up the
Warpstock '98 artwork to add to your home page, please stop by
http://www.warpstock.org . If you'd like to be listed on the "supporters"
page, just drop a note to the Warpstock staff at questions@warpstock.org
with the address of your web site.
THE WARPSTOCK SPIRIT OF VOLUNTEERISM
It's certainly not too late to volunteer to help out at Warpstock '98. For
more information please e-mail volunteers@warpstock.org.
OFFICIAL NEWSGROUP
Be sure to post a note to alt.org.team-os2 if you're interested in sharing
rides to Warpstock, finding the best travel and hotel deals, etc. The
earlier you start planning the more you can save. Also be sure to look for
discounts on the official airline of Warpstock '98, United Airlines.
Details will be posted in the next few days to the Warpstock web site at
http://www.warpstock.org .
We hope to see you this October!
