Hi all,
last week I uploaded
Virus Check Pro 1.0
onto Hobbes.
This program is a unique front-end for the most common virus protection
tools for OS/2. It supports IBM AntiVirus, Sophos Sweep, Dr. Solomon's
Anti-Virus-Toolkit, McAfee Virus-Scan, H&BEDV Antivir/2 and Norman
Virus-Control.
The PM front-end comes in english, dutch and german language.
Virus Check Pro allows scanning single files and whole directories just by
drag and drop. Doing this, Virus Check Pro is able to use one or more (!)
of the supported and installed virus protection tools.
For example: You're usually using IBM AntiVirus and McAfee Virus-Scan to
protect your system. Now - with Virus Check Pro, you simply drag and drop
the directory or file to scan onto the Virus Check Pro program window. The
software now gives McAfee and IBM the order to check the file(s) - in one
pass at the same time!! The result of the virus check is displayed in the
Virus Check Pro program window.
Virus Check Pro also is able to use scan lists. You create lists of files
and directories which are to check on a regular basis. Virus Check Pro does
it for you - just by one mouse click - and with all installed virus
protection tools in one pass.
Virus Check Pro 1.0 is distributed as shareware. Registrations will be made
through BMT Micro, Inc. - the registration fee is US$ 20.00
On Hobbes you can find a shareware version which has all features to test
during an evaluation time of 30 days.
