CHAMPAIGN-URBANA AREA OS/2 USERS' GROUP MEETING
                          NOVEMBER 13, 1995 AT 7PM

The November meeting of the Champaign-Urbana OS/2 Users' Group meeting
will be this coming Monday, November 13th, in the Ornamental
Horticulture Building on the University of Illinois campus.
(Directions to the building are given below.)

Presentation

For the November meeting, we were able to get guest speaker Timothy
Sipples, Certified OS/2 Engineer and technical marketing specialist at
IBM. He will give a presentation on "Networking with OS/2 Warp
Connect," the network-ready member of the OS/2 Warp family.

As a presenter and lecturer, Tim's expertise is in high demand. He is
best known for his OS/2 Warp Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) List on
the Internet, which covers a wide variety of questions on OS/2. He is
also co-author of the newly-published book IBM's Official OS/2 Warp
FAQs. The user group extends a warm welcome to Tim back to the twin
cities for this presentation. Tim came last year to introduce the
arrival of OS/2 Warp, a presentation which drew a crowd of over sixty
   people.

Door prizes will include a copy of OS/2 Warp Connect, Lotus Smartsuite
for OS/2, and the DB2/2 database.

How to Get There

The official street address of the Ornamental Horticulture Building is
1107 South Dorner Drive. It is located on the south side of UIUC
campus in Urbana, directly south of the Edward R. Madigan Laboratory
(ERML, formerly known as PABL, the Plant and Animal Biotechnology
   Laboratory).

   To get to the building:

    1. Take University Avenue to Goodwin Avenue, then head south to the
       end of Goodwin.
    2. At the T intersection of Goodwin and Gregory Drive, ERML is
directly to the south, with a choice of traveling left (east) or
right (west) on Gregory. Go left (east on Gregory).
    3. The first stop sign is Dorner Drive. Take a right and go south on
       Dorner Drive.
    4. Turn in to the second entrance on the right, which leads into a
       parking lot (lot F-28).
    5. Drive straight through this lot and past the "pedestrian crossing"
street sign into a second parking lot.

The building at the far right corner of the parking lot is the
   Ornamental Horticulture Building.
