J Street Mailer(TM) Released - A Full Scale Java Application (Tested
with IBM JDK 1.1.4 for OS/2)

Harrison, New York, January 30, 1998 -- InnoVal Systems Solutions announced
today that it has released the first beta version of J Street Mailer, a
comprehensive, full-featured Internet email client written completely in
Java.

"The world is waiting to see full scale, cross-platform Java applications,"
said Dan Porter, President of InnoVal. Porter was speaking to members of the
Philadelphia Area Computer Society and demonstrating J Street Mailer on
Wednesday evening, January 28. "Java has been long on promise but short on
applications. I wanted our company to build an application that was robust
enough and comprehensive enough to show that the Java promise is real."

In addition to regular features found in most email software such as MIME
encoding of attachments, nested folders, and multiple address books, J
Street Mailer has some unique features not found in other competitive
products. One such feature is Virtual Folders. Independent of where messages
are filed in regular folders, J Street Mailer provides virtual "folders"
that enable one to find mail sent or received between two dates, mail that
has been color-coded or has a "sticky note," mail received from or sent to a
specific email address, etc.

Multiple Personas, another advanced feature of J Street Mailer, allows users
to customize messages for different recipients. A user can, for instance,
create a different Persona for business and personal email with different
signature lines, from and reply-to names and folders for storing sent
messages. No longer should users accidentally send email to business
associates with a closing that reads, "Love, Dad."

Additional information, including a comprehensive list of features, may be
found at InnoVal's home page at http://www.innoval.com.
