All members and other interested folks are advised that we will *NOT*
meet at the new IBM office building in Glenloch Corporate Campus, as
originally planned. The January meeting will be held at the Episcopal
Academy in Merion Station, PA. Directions are as follows:
(1) From NJ, Philadelphia, Upper Montgomery & Bucks Counties, etc.,
go to the City Line (US-1 South) exit of the Schuylkill Expressway
(I-76). Proceed south on City Line Ave. for about 1.75 miles to the
intersection of 54th St. on the Philadelphia side and Old Lancaster
Rd. on the Lower Merion Twp. side. Popeye's Fried Chicken is on the
corner. You can't miss it. Turn right onto Old Lancaster Rd., and
go about a quarter mile, and then turn left onto N. Latches Lane.
Go 0.3 mile to the main entrance of Episcopal Academy on the left,
between two large stone pillars. There's a large white house on
the left, just beyond the entrance drive. Now see (3) below.
(2) From southern areas, proceed north on Rte. US-1 which becomes
City Line Avenue in the Philadelphia area. After crossing Lancaster
Ave. (US-30), go another half mile to Raynham Rd. There's a traffic
light at the intersection. (59th St. is on the Philadelphia side)
Turn left onto Raynham Rd, go about a quarter mile and turn right
onto N. Latches Lane. Go 0.3 mile to the main entrance of Episcopal
Academy on the right, between two large stone pillars. There's a
large white house on the right, just prior to the entrance drive.
(3) Go 200-300 feet into the entrance drive, and come to a traffic
oval. Parking areas are all around. The main school building is
just on the far side of the traffic oval. Enter through the front
doors. The meeting room is located on the left side of a corridor,
immediately to the right of the lobby.
(4) Center City folks (and possibly others) without cars can take
the SEPTA R-5 (Paoli Local) train to Overbrook or Merion Station,
which are very close to Episcopal Academy. Be sure to call Larry
to make prior arrangements to be picked up at the RR station.
