IRC/2 Version 0.65 AVAILABLE

Innovative Logic Corp is proud to announce the uploading of the latest
IRC/2 Version 0.65 to hobbes.nmsu.edu. The file has been uploaded as
/incoming/irc2_065.zip and will reside in /os2/network/tcpip/irc2_065.zip.

IRC/2 is a shareware OS/2 multi-threaded client for Internet Relay Chat
that supports virtually all of ircII's command set. It is a native OS/2
32-bit program with a colourized display and a PM settings program.
IRC/2 supports partial irc scripting with full scripting support planned
for version 0.75 (release in late 1995).

New features include nuke protection commands which helps prevent you from
being disconnected from an ircii server when someone attempts to nuke you.
In addition, a fully bindable keyboard has been introduced. The manual has
been re-designed in an INF file which is readable with the VIEW.EXE command.

The traditional ircII text interface used in IRC/2 also supports multiple
users with distinct ini files for each individual. The shareware version
of IRC/2 comes with a 30 day license for evaluation purposes. This license
continues for as many upgrades as may become available during the trial
period.

PM IRC/2 is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 1996 and will
include all of IRC/2's functionality. PM specific enhancements will
be incorporated into the client as well as the scripting language that
is supported by IRC/2. For information about this product, please
send email requests to <pmirc2@invlogic.com>. We also welcome any
suggestions you may have regarding PM IRC/2 features.

Join us in our contest to develop a desktop icon for this software
package. The prize is a registered copy of the text-based version of
IRC/2. Contest information is available in the README.1ST document
once you have downloaded and unzipped the distribution file.
