New features of LAN Intensive Care Utilities
You asked for it, and now we have it available for download!
The -RSRC limit of 64KBytes has been removed in the latest version.
Since many of you have told us that you use the -RSRC to extract
aliases, we have also allowed you to provide just the alias name as the
resource name (you don't even need to put in the server name!).
We have also created a new version of LU called LU32 that can
extract the information on ALL the users in large domains. With this
version, you can extract users beyond the 1985 user limit. To use
this version, you must be using the Warp Connect requester or any
LAN Requester 4.0 version.
This is all available from our BBS as the file LUNEW.ZIP in area (B).
Administrative Privilege Problems
For those of you that have been experiencing the loss of administrative
privilege after applying IP7060 service pack, we now have a replacement
service pack called IP7075.ZIP located in area (B) of our BBS.
These files are available from our BBS at 310-550-5980. We are working
on version 1.4 of LAN ICU and will provide a complete refresh of the manual
and all of the modules within LAN ICU. This new version will be posted
on Compuserve, Internet, and the ftp site of your choice.
