---------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you have more than one MIDI object on your Warp 4 desktop, perhaps because
you have OPL-3 and MPU-401 audio drivers loaded? Well, then you probably know
that there is a bug in the WPS where all MIDI objects point to the same device
(so if you have a "MIDI 2" object, and you try to play a MIDI file through it,
it actually plays on the "MIDI 1" device). Well, fear no more, because
finally there's an APAR on it.
APAR JR10933 has been created (as of last week or so) to address this. It's
currently slated to be fixed, but I have no idea which fixpack it will make
(probably FP5 at the earliest).
If this bug affects you, you may want to contact OS/2 Technical Support and
tell them that you are looking forward to the fix. The more attention they
get for it, the sooner it will get fixed.
