---------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings, fellow OS/2 user:

I'm currently in the process of building an ALL OS/2 hardware guide, which
will provide information on:

Motherboard, CPU, RAM (as one page)
Video Card
Sound Card
Network Card
Disk Drives and their Interfaces (as one page)
Modem and serial I/O
Scanners
Digitizers

As the area is quite vast for one single person (namely myself) to manage, I
would like to ask if any fellow OS/2 users are interested in managing and are
experienced in the area of:

Sound Card
Network Card
Disk Drives and their Interfaces (as one page)
Modem and serial I/O
Scanners
Digitizers
(I'll manage the Video Card and MB, CPU and RAM)

And as for managing an area, you will be responsible for receiving user's
report about hardware in your area and integrating it into the web page you
are managing. After which you will send me the page for me to translate it
into BIG-5 coded Chinese and post it one the net.

And not to worry, for translating the page, I'll make it so that the original
English text is side by side with the Chinese text. Since I'm making this
page for that it is quite hard to find a web page that actually talk about in
depth hardware information AND checking for compatibility and speed under
OS/2.

For example, the S3 ViRGE series of cards is bloody fast under Windows GUI,
almost as fast as the Matrox Millenium, and costs about 1/4 the price that
Matrox is asking. BUT it is so SLOW that it is slower than the ET-4000/W32p
that it replaces. Because most hardware review pages does not tell people
those information because they either don't know or don't care about
performance under OS/2, and so I decided to start my own OS/2 Hardware page.

Thank you for your time, and please E-Mail me at the address below if you are
interested, or just wondering about my idea... :)
