 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~    back, and better than ever!   Come, join us!
     I did a search on OS/2 the other day at www.yahoo.com, then I went on to
www.altavista.digital.com, and then to www.lycos.com. Needles to say I was not
impressed.  Don't get me wrong friends, it's not that I didn't find a lot of
OS/2 sites, it was quite the opposite, I found a lot of sites dealing with
OS/2.  The aspect of which I was unhappy about was the contents of these OS/2
sites.  They all dealt with OS/2, the operating system.
     So I started a campaign and called it "Made With OS/2 Campaign". I wanted
to know what sites, not necessarily dealing with computers, were created,
powered, fueled, or in some other aspect, helped by OS/2. I mean I wanted to
know if my high school's web site ran off an OS/2 Server, or if a lab in some
university used OS/2 to design the graphics images on their site, or if a game
company used OS/2 to run it's FTP servers.  I wanted to know, and there just
wasn't a place for me to find this information.
     That is what this campaign is for.  It shows cyberspace resources which
in some way, shape, or form, were created or powered by OS/2.  It can be your
personal web page for which you used Embelish, or it can be a web site powered
by Apache, or an FTP server powered by FTPD.  It is time to show the real
world all the places in which OS/2 is used, all the wonders that it brings to
this world, and all the things OS/2 creates that others take for granted.  It
is time, the walls of shadow must be broken.  We will show the people that
even though they don't realize it, they come in contact with OS/2 every day,
through their banks, their web use, their education, we must do this.
     Please come and join the campaign.  If your cyberspace resources are
helped by OS/2, join us, and if you can, please place one of our buttons on
your web page in support.  Visit us at http://www.cybermail.net/~madeos2 and
click on "Add your site" to do just that.  The time to act is now!!
   Thank you very much,
   Bojan Landekic
