-----------------------------------------------------------
The beta cycle is winding down as the Enhanced E's are nearing full intent of
their targeted features. We are planning two more releases (one "added
function" release and another release stripped of all extraneous code) before
finalizing the full version. As this was our first foray into the world of
OS/2, we made a few mistakes along the way. With the help of good reporting
from our tireless testers we were able to make the adjustments needed to make
the Enhanced E's a very productive environment.
The archive includes two editors, one of them is a free editor that is much
like the OS/2 "E" System editor and will allow you to enjoy a few features
that somehow did not appear in the system editor. The free version of the
Enhanced E is being offered to the OS/2 community in hopes that it will prove
to be of great value to all. Please stop by our website for a list of
features.
If you haven't tried them yet, now is the time to try. If you have tried them
and for any reason have strayed elsewhere, we would like to invite you to
reassess these fine editors.
