WUG (Warp Users Group) is Montreal's English-Language OS/2 User Group.
Objectives:
To demonstrate the many applications available for Warp*and Warp Connect*.
To provide anglophone users in the Montreal region with a forum for discussion
of IBM's OS/2 software*, related applications, and hardware matters.
To assist users to find the best applications / software solutions for their
needs.
Features:
Free admission to all meetings.
Meetings are held in the English language.
Admission is open to all interested parties, regardless of level of expertise.
Though primarily an OS/2 interest group, users of other platforms may attend.
IBM employees and out-of-town visitors are particularly welcome.
There is an annual membership fee of just $5.00 (Canadian funds) per person.
Frequency:
The group meets on the *SECOND* TUESDAY of each month in the
IBM-Marathon Building

From 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
N.B. There is an 'early-bird' session for novices, which starts at 6:45 pm.
Building Security requires that the doors be locked at 7:00pm.

How to get there:
By metro, travel to either Bonaventure or Peel station. From Bonaventure,
head toward the Windsor Train Station exit which is connected directly
to 1250 Rene Levesque Boulevard West. (West Island commuters could take
the local train to this station). From Peel, use the Stanley street exit
(facing the YMCA), and head towards St. Catherine Street. The IBM Building
is directly across from the Sheraton Centre Hotel on the corner of Stanley
and Rene Levesque.
