April LAN SIG Meeting Notice!

When: Tuesday, April 1

Who: Jim Williamson and Burke Swanson from Accram Inc. will talk about the
topic of LAN Cable wiring/installation.

This firm has been in the valley since 1981 providing cost effective
solutions in various fields of information technology including Cable
Installation, Maintenance and Repair Service and Systems Network Integration.

Why attend? Basic question most of us ask before heading out to a
presentation. Just think about the explosion of the Internet and the
possibilities of setting up a peer to peer network in your home or office. The
basic component of either is the cabling that ties it together. Are you
planning to move into a new home? Wouldn't it be great if the house was
pre-wired to allow this possibility or access the higher speed of the
Internet? What are the differences between those cables and why should you
even care? Answers to these and other questions should be answered during the
meeting

NOTICE:!!! As many of you might remember from the February meeting, our SIG
has a new meeting location. The location is 2999 N 44 Street, Suite 400. This
is the offices of a new training provider, Knowledge Development Center (KDC).
Remember, meeting times have changed as well. The meeting starts at 6pm and
runs till 8pm
