OpenIRC/2 v1.0 has been released!

OpenIRC/2 is 32-bit, multithreaded PM IRC (Internet Relay Chat Network)
client which takes full advantage of the OS/2 operating system, its WPS and
other features only found in OS/2. It has been designed with speed, power,
and flexibility in mind.
OpenIRC/2's main attraction comes from its flexibility. It provides a
strong foundation for third party hobbyists to create IRC scripts and take
advantage of its many features including drag and drop support, menu (popup &
pulldown) support and much more!
OpenIRC/2 comes with a sample script to get you up and running quickly.
This script also displays how easy it is to add features to OpenIRC/2 and
serves as an example to all others wishing to add on to the client.
Features included, but not limited to:
- Full ircII scripting compatibility (runs all UNIX ircII scripts)
- Pull down and pop-up menu support via script hooks
- Drag & Drop support via script hooks
- MultiMedia support via internal MMPM/2 script hooks (sound/video)
- Web Browsing hooks to allow easy mouse clicking on URLs to load web browser
- Internal scripting functions to make script creation easier and faster to use
- FAST!! script execution, and stability second to none (faster than REXX!)
- Multi-windowed environment (open new windows for channels/dcc chats/etc.)
- Completely colour and font configurable via mouse popup palette/font menus
- Full colour scrollback with colour enabled cut & paste options
- DCC burst mode for fast DCC transfers, with RESEND, REGET and RESUME support
- A powerful default script, with userlist, menu, and drag & drop support
