The OS/2 Bay Area User Group has the following activities scheduled
for the remainder of November:
25th, General Meeting: Java, Ron Barr, Taligent

General Meeting will be held on Monday, November 25, 1996 at Stanford Linear
Accelerator Auditorium, 2575 Sand Hill Rd, Menlo Park, California from 7:00 PM
to 9:00 PM (Q&A session/New User Clinic at 7:00PM, General Meeting begins at
7:30)

Ron Barr will talk about and demonstrate what IBM and Taligent are doing with
Java, the phenomenon that IBM PSP General Manager John W. Thompson calls the
most important he's seen in the industry.
Directions To Meeting
Take the Sand Hill Road East exit off I-280. The second traffic light after
the one at the interchange is the entrance to SLAC. Turn right. Stop at the
guard house and tell the guard that you are going to the OS/2 Bay Area User
Group meeting. The Auditorium is in the central area of the complex and is the
building straight ahead of you when you are at the guard house.
Admission Fee:
General meetings are free for members and $3 for nonmembers.
