Schur !
As we are a German usergroup, first a sentence to the German readers:
Alle aufgefuehrten Informationen koennt Ihr unter
http://www.unix-ag.uni-siegen.de/os2ugsi/ abrufen (Alles in Deutsch). Falls
Ihr keinen WWW-Zugang habt, dann schreibt mir eine email, oder holt Euch aus
der in der Signatur stehenden BBS einfach den HTML-Code der Seiten (Sysop bin
ich, also bei Fragen einfach Chaten).
Now back to English ...
The OS/2 Usergroup Siegerland is located in Germany (NRW), and was founded
in the beginning of 1996.
Visit our German Web Site on http://www.unix-ag.uni-siegen.de/os2ugsi/ to
find out more about who we are and what we do.
Some highlights:
- To enable you to contact others in case of hard- and software problems, many
members are listed with their complete hard- and software configurations
- Take a look at our "Wie Bitte/2"-section for the latest winners of the
"worst OS/2 related material/information/software/support"-contest. (This
month winner: OS/2 Spezial, with their wonderful emTeX-Special-CD ... <BG>)
- Read surprising news about OS/2 (4.1 SMP ? All clients ? Huh ?)
- Become a member. Online. Just fill in the form. That's it :)
- See the ultimate killerpage for MS InterNet Explorer
- Hunt for some unusual software in the depths of our pages
- And all the usual stuff about us, TeamOS/2 and all the rest ...
We meet every first Sunday of a month in Siegen, in the "Gartenhaus".
Currently we are discussing a new location, because beer at our usual place is
too expensive, and we had some problems because we nearly filled up the shop
with all our visitors last time ;)
So, stay tuned with us on our Pages, or take part in our mailinglist. To
subscribe, simply send an email to coco@dream.si.sub.de with subject
"subscribe OS/2 UGSI".
Please note, that nearly all information is given in German only. (Including
the mailinglist).
MfG CoCo
PS: Also, raus aus den Socken, und mal auf
http://www.unix-ag.uni-siegen.de/os2ugsi/ nachgesehen, was in der Provinz so
alles laeuft ...
