SEPTEMBER 19, 1995 - 7:00 - TUESDAY
LOTUS NOTES in the OS/2 Environment: Tony Walsh, author
of the recent book by the same name, will give programmers
and network administrators an insider's view of the OS/2-Notes
environment and architecture, how it works, and where it's
going. A former lecturer in Mathematics at Brixton College,
London, England, Tony has been with Lotus Development for
the last 7 years.
OCTOBER 10, 1995 - 7:00 PM - TUESDAY
OS/2 WARP WEB SERVER & SECURE OS/2 WARP Demonstrations:
Randy Mysliviec, IBM World-Wide Brand Manager for TCP/IP
and Internet Connection Software, will speak on IBM's view
of the Internet and IBM's Internet Connection family of
software products. The IBM Internet Connection family
includes client and server software for OS/2 Warp, Windows,
AIX and other operating systems. Live Demonstrations! Bring
your questions on the Secure HyperText Transfer Protocol,
the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol, etc.
NOVEMBER 7, 1995 - 7:00 PM - TUESDAY
DB2 FOR OS/2 CLIENT/SERVER DATABASE TECHNOLOGY: Bill Wong,
an IBM DB2 Technical Specialist with IBM Canada, LTD, will
review the latest functions and features that are being made
available in IBM's strategic client/server database for OS/2,
DB2 for OS/2 V2.1. New functionality, connectivity, performance,
and object-oriented extensions as well as new tools and
utilities will be reviewed and demonstrated during this
presentation. Bill has worked as a system engineer, programmer
and DBA. In addition, he has taught Database Management and
Decision Analysis at the University of Toronto.

>From Route 128 (Int.-95) southbound -take Route 30 exit; go
straight across Route 30 at traffic lights at top of ramp; street
becomes South Street at Weston-Waltham line; proceed
across railroad tracks and up hill; campus is on the left.
>From Route 128 (Int-95) northbound -take Route 30 exit;
turn left at top of ramp onto Route 30;
turn right at traffic lights; proceed across Weston-Waltham
line; over railroad tracks; Brandeis is on the left.
>From Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound -take Route 128-
Route 30 exit; after tollgate, follow signs to Route 30; at
top of ramp, left on Route 30; right at lights.
>From Massachusetts Turnpike westbound -take Route 30-
Weston exit at 128 interchange; after tollgate, proceed
straight, right at top of ramp and right at trafffic
lights; left at next set of lights.
Free Parking: Bear left at the main entrance and follow
the OS/2 Users' Group Signs.
Commuter train service is available from Boston's North
Station to the Brandeis/Roberts Station which borders the
campus.
