CHAMPAIGN-URBANA AREA OS/2 USER GROUP MEETING, SEPTEMBER 1995:
OS/2 WARP VS. WINDOWS95
Come watch as IBM technical specialists perform a live comparison and
evaluation of IBM's OS/2 Warp Connect and Microsoft's Windows95
operating systems. The IBM technical specialists will also be speaking
on IBM's strategy for OS/2, and will be available to answer questions
afterwards.
The presentation will be held on Monday September 11, 1995 at 7pm. Due
to the special nature of this presentation, the meeting will be held
at the Digital Computer Laboratory on UIUC campus (on the corner of
Mathews and Springfield in Urbana). The room is 1310, on the east side
of the building on the first floor.

There is ample parking to south of the building along Springfield and
southeast of the building along Mathews.
We will also hold prize drawings for a copy of each of the following
software packages. Winners must be present in order to claim their
prizes!
* OS/2 Warp Connect v3 with Win-OS/2
* Lotus SmartSuite for OS/2
* IBM CSet++ FirstStep CD-ROM Pak
If you have questions about using SLIP or PPP with your Internet
Access Kit or questions about getting connected with OS/2 Warp
Connect, have them answered at the meeting!
As with all our OS/2 user group meetings, everyone is welcome to
attend; attendance is not limited to those affiliated with the
University of Illinois. User group members and those interesting in
seeing and evaluating OS/2 are especially encouraged to come.
