Constant Data announces support for Windows to Linux real time
replication enhancement

Minneapolis, July 25 - Constant Data (http://www.constantdata.com), has
announced that it's cross platform(Linux, Windows, Solaris) continuous
real-time data replication and distribution software supports replication
of windows ACLs to Linux. Users will now be able to replicate multiple
windows, Linux or Solaris servers to Linux while preserving Access
Control Lists.

Constant Replicator allows businesses and public entities to continuously
protect their critical data in case of disaster. Each time data changes
on one or more servers, the software automatically makes the same changes
to one or more remote servers. This allows customers to have access to
the same data in one or more locations for sharing purposes or disaster
tolerance.

Constant Replicator allows users to replicate data between Windows,
Linux(all of 2.4 and 2.6 kernels), Solaris, AIX and Mac OSX based
servers.

Constant Replicator can preserve Solaris, Linux and Windows ACLs.
Solaris ACLs will be mapped to Linux ACLs and vis versa. Windows users
can restore their data with fully preserved ACLs from Linux servers.

Subject: Linux Gazette: Call for Papers
From: "Benjamin A. Okopnik" <ben@linuxgazette.net>

The Linux Gazette <http://linuxgazette.net> is calling for authors for its
upcoming issues. The articles should be Linux-relevant and addressed to a
wide audience which includes neophyte Linux users (i.e., any terms not in
common usage should be defined, and step-by-step instructions should be
given where applicable.)

Articles published in LG cover a broad spectrum of diverse interests within
the world of Linux; even if you're uncertain that your article fits
completely within the guidelines, feel free to submit it. We'll be glad to
check it out and let you know whether it's acceptable as is, how it can be
adapted to fit, or if it is not at all suitable.

For more information on the LG submission guidelines, acceptable format,
style guide, and other related issues, please see the LG Author FAQ at
<http://linuxgazette.net/faq/author.html>.

The submission deadline is 7 days before the end of the month. Early
submission is encouraged, since it allows for a round of correction (if it
proves necessary) and may turn an article that would otherwise be rejected
into one that can be published.
