Subject: eoconv 1.0 released: convert between Esperanto encodings and transliterations

eoconv 1.0 -- released on 2004-09-18

About:

eoconv is a tool which converts text files to and from the following
Esperanto text encodings and transliteration schemes:

     * ASCII postfix h notation
     * ASCII postfix x notation
     * ASCII postfix caret (^) notation
     * ASCII prefix caret (^) notation
     * ISO-8859-3
     * Unicode (UTF-7, UTF-8, UTF-16, UTF-32)
     * HTML entities (decimal or hexadecimal)

This is the first stable release of eoconv. It features significantly
revised and expanded documentation and installation instructions, a
--quiet option to suppress nonessential warnings, and a minor bugfix for
the postfix-h transliteration scheme.

eoconv should run on any system with Perl 5.6 or higher installed.
