MIMEDefang is a MIME mail scanner designed to run on Linux or UNIX
systems, and intended mainly to protect Windows e-mail clients from
mail-borne viruses.
MIMEDefang uses the new Sendmail 8.10/8.11 "Milter" API to intervene in
SMTP transactions. It examines each part of a MIME message and decides
on the disposition according to configuration rules. The configuration
file is written in Perl, so the rules are as flexible as Perl.
MIMEDefang scans are done once per message, rather than once per
recipient as is the case with procmail-based systems.
MIME Defang is available from:
http://www.roaringpenguin.com/mimedefang
and is released under the GNU General Public License.
Changes since 0.4:
"action_bounce" bounces a message only after all parts have been scanned
instead of terminating the scan immediately.
"action_notify_sender" lets you notify e-mail senders that their messages
have been modified.
mimedefang.pl uses "sendmail" to send notification messages, letting you
choose the address from which such notifications appear to come.

Hi All,
I can find no members of this group that respond to emails. The web site
is dead, and 1999 was the last time it was updated.
http://www.fleas.org
http://noframes.linuxjournal.com/glue/groups/us/northcarolina
If anyone is interested, I might be able to devote some time to this group
and get it moving.
Also, if someone is having a tough time with Linux, and is local to
Fayetteville NC, I will be glad to help, whether Linux-Challenged or not!
Email me at faheyd@nospamever.yahoo.com
remove the nospamever and it'll get to me.
TIA,

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====
Hi comp.os.linux.announce!
I've released Version 0.1.90.2 of The Guild.
The Guild is a fully rendered/raytraced first-person interactive adventure.
It will contain fully rendered animations and digitized speech and
soundtrack. You'll have to solve puzzles, make decisions, interact with
other people, even travel to other planets and star systems and command one
of the starships in space. You'll have to gain information out of many
different sources to successfully complete your task.
The new Version is now available for Linux, Win32 and BeOS. Of course some
bugs have been fixed too, and a new test animation has been added.
