Description: JCOM is a user friendly menu-driven software with rich features
for 386-based PC MSDOS terminal emulator. It supports the ANSI,
VT102 and Linux consoles and also supports the function/cursor
keys for each terminal emulation.
It supports RS-232 UART 16550A FIFO hardware with speed up to
115200 bps and includes software and hardware flow control.
In addition to the default com1 to com4, JCOM supports hardware
device setup for other communication ports (com5 to com35).
JCOM includes command-file and doskey-like function which are
very useful for remote-system-command execution.

CURSEL is a freeware FMLI (Forms and Menu Language Interpreter)
implementation for Linux and UNIX. CURSEL interprets Menu description
files, which are simple text files, describing a character GUI (Menus,
forms, text files) for character terminals (xterm, vt100, etc.). Pipes,
shell escapes, backquoted expressions, and file redirection are supported,
and when compiled with ncurses 5, CURSEL supports color.
CURSEL also supports coroutines, and descriptors to create, send data, or
receive data, from an another process via named pipes.

as you have probably noticed GNU AWK 3.0.6 has been released.
We have prepared an optional patch for this release, which adds
the networking extensions to 3.0.6. It can be downloaded from
ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/gawk/gawk-3.0.6-networking-diffs.gz

If you apply this patch, you will be able to use the networking
extensions, which will be part of the regular GAWK 3.1 when it is ready.
Notice that I added some lines at the top of the file
README.networking
On an Intel 486, one should not expect a GAWK "web service" to serve
more than one request per second. My Intel Celeron 333 was able to
serve up to 7 requests a second (I was physically unable to trigger more
than 7 mouse clicks per second with the index finger Nature has equipped
me with).

the networking GAWK and want to share it with others.
