The site lets you build you own 3D sites using VRML 2.0. It lets you
define 'houses' and 'roads' to sit on a '3D website'. The intent is to
create a simple method of site construction, but with enough variety to make
the generation of useful sites possible.
The site consists of HTML and CGI scripts (written in Perl). You should
have Apache installed. To view the sites you will also need a VRML 2.0
viewer, and it is recommended that this is associated with your Netscape
(or whatever) browser.
**** Please note, the installation is known to work on Caldera and
Red-Hat Linux. Other distributions have not been tested.

Uuggh. I screwed up the code that handled the combination of
permissions across multiple roles and permission matrices, which broke
things horribly for everyone but supergash. On the positive side, the
bug revealed another bug that might have layed dormant for a long time
in the absence of the big bug, so two for the price of one.
I generally wouldn't pop out a new release so soon, but this
permissions bug makes it impossible to do anything real with Ganymede
unless you are just logging in with the supergash account for testing,
and it might have mightily confused anyone who actually tried to dig a
bit deep into Ganymede.

1. [SERVER] Fixed value() in StringDBField.java
The value() method in StringDBField.java was improperly forcing
a permissions check, despite the fact that value() was used for
server-side code only.
This was causing a problem at transaction commit-time under certain
conditions, caused by the PermMatrix.union() bug below.
2. [SERVER] Fixed bugs in permissions system
Ugh, I had screwed up PermMatrix.union() in 0.99.2, the object->field
inheritance logic wasn't working properly.
I fixed PermMatrix.union(), simplified GanymedeSession.getPerm(), and
modified both PermEntry.union() and PermEntry.intersection() to optimize
out a lot of new PermEntry creation.

autorun - automatically mounts/unmounts CDROMs and exe
cutes /patch_to_cdrom/autorun after mounting

autorun [-lqv?V] [-a FILE] [-c FILE] [-i VALUE] [-n FILE]
[--autorun=FILE] [--cdplayer=FILE] [--interval=VALUE]
[--lock] [--mountonly] [--notify=FILE] [--quiet] [--ver
bose] [--help] [--usage] [--version] [cdromdevices...]
DESCRIPTION
autorun automagically recognises all available CDROMs in
your system, mounts them upon insertion and executes a
possible 'autorun' executable on the CD. To allow an ordi
nary user to do this you have to add the options user,exec
in /etc/fstab to the CDROMs you want to use.
You may also use Autorun.kdelnk for KDE. Just place it in
your Autostart folder.
OPTIONS
-a, --autorun=FILE
Name of the program on the cd that will executed,
if the cd changes
-c, --cdplayer=FILE
Name of the audio CD player
-i, --interval=VALUE
The time to wait in millisec between checks
-l, --lock
Lock the mounted media (unmount by hand)
-m, --mountonly
mount/unmount only (do not execute anything)
-n, --notify=FILE
Commandstring that will executed if the cd changes
-q, --quiet
Don't produce any output
-v, --verbose
Produce verbose output
-?, --help,
Give this help list
--usage
Give a short usage message

Print program version
Mandatory or optional arguments to long options are also
mandatory or optional for any corresponding short options.

FreeTDS is an open-source implementation of C libraries used to talk to
Sybase and Microsoft SQL Servers using the TDS (Tabular DataStream)
protocol. Current libraries supported are db-lib, ct-lib, and ODBC. JDBC
and DBI interfaces are also available seperately.

cole is a free C OLE library. It is released under GPL to help more
software be released as free software. cole can handle Microsoft OLE's
Structured Storage and Compound Files. Such formats are used in the
files generated by the Microsoft suite for offices.
cole doesn't know about internal structure of a stream, it only reads
the raw data. You can use then the Microsoft's documentation available
at http://msdn.microsoft.com or the information available at
http://www.wotsit.org to read that structure.
