> 1) How many advisors does your chapter have?

3 that a pretty active
3 that we could go to if we had a problem, but we usually don't see them
1 scouting advisor that we don't see too much

> 2) How often do you see these advisors, if at all?

Our chapter president sees the chairman of our advisory committee (the
head advisor) about once a week. One is a chapter alumni and we see him
all of the time. The others, we see infrequently.

> 3) What functions do your advisors perform?

Playing university politics - our head advisor is the director of personel
and has a lot of pull and knows a lot of people. The chief of university
police is an advisor so he has influence over police type arrangements. The
other advisors have some influence in their individual areas. We sometimes
need faculty members (ie advisors) for reserving university facilities. Our
old head advisor was the Registrar and had lots of pull - especially for get-
ting me into closed classes!

> 4) How did you select these advisors, and why?

They are recommend be brothers or other advisors. They must want to work
with us and it is useful if they are able to help us because of their
position in the University.

> 5) Do you wish you had more advisors?

Yes. You can't have too many active advisors (well, I guess you could,
but I haven't seen it)

Hope this helps

Delta Dave
