I don't speak for anyone but myself, but as service vp of AB chapter, I've
always tried to make sure that our stance as a fraternity on issues is
non-existent. What I mean by that is I don't think that any one stance
would represent such a diverse brotherhood as our own. I always made sure
that if we worked with a group, say like the College Democrats on voter
registration, I did not think of having apo join until there was a balance
(e.g. getting the college republicans involved). I also politely declined
to help a Crisis Pregnancy Center with their "Pro-Life Cut-a-thon" (hair
cutting fund raiser), but I did get some of our brothers to volunteer with
their day care stuff (they are a community center). I don't think that we
joined the brotherhood so that it could dictate or morals. To each his (or
her) own is what I think should be case.

BTW, can we please talk about something other than BSA and homosexuals?

Sorry if this letter is incoherent, I am writing at the end of my late night
computer lab shift (1am-7:44am) and I'm not exactly all here. Later...Aman.
