ERm, watch out, that should be :-)
At any rate, earlier I posted what *Jerry* had said about the official
relations between us all.
Now I'd like to menion my views ;-) This is as a former scout and a current
Brother.
I think that it is very important that we know where we came from, and that is
the BSA. However, I do not think that beholdens us to them forever, or vice-
versa.
I do not think that their membership policy makes any sense, but they have every
right to have it.
I do not like the fact that their reps sit on our board, non-voting though they
may be. However, it doesn't bother me to the point that I would campaign to
get rid of them.
Overall, I think the two org's have a lot in common, and can help each other
a lot. While I personally don't participate in the scouting projects we do
here at AGX, I have no problem with the chapter doing them.
So long as they have no say into what we do or how we do it, then I think we
all should work together and make the best of what we have.
