Howdy all,
A few weeks ago, Lori Tsuruda posted info about a documentary on the AIDS
virus. The film "Living Proof: HIV and the Pursuit of Happiness" is
currently being shown in film festivals around the country and will be
released for a theatrical run in Jan 1994. Lori posted showing times
in New York City and Boston; if you want more information on where else
the film will be shown, please call the film's producer, Short Films, Inc.
at (212) 947-3327, either to Beth Tyler (producer) or Kermit (director)
I had spoken with Beth Tyler on Tuesday morning about the possibility of
getting a copy of the film to show on campus, in conjunction with National
Service Day. Because the film is still being shown in festivals, a video
tape copy won't be available until next year. However, Beth Tyler was
excited that someone had shown interest in the film. She asked that I,
or anyone else who wants to see the film, to please call the film's
distributors at
