Oops. My hearfelt thanks to Michael Leahy at Virginia Tech who
wrote to me:

Ok. Epsilon Zeta is at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Troy is just ouside Albany, NY, which is (for those totally unfamiliar
with upstate New York) about 150 miles north of New York City.
Michael also asked if I posted this on APOSOC-L. Yes, I posted there
first. But, since SOC is only read by people with lots of bandwidth,
lots of free time, or very little sanity (*I* subscribe to SOC), I wrote
to Ellen and asked her permission to post on APO-L. She OK'd an
announcement, with discussion to occurr over private e-mail (IMHO, this
post is a necessary addendum to the previous announcement).
All right, defensive mode OFF.
Hope to see people there!! (or else I'm a-gonna have my chapter quite
miffed at me)

by a meaningless saying (just like this one).
