Hi all!
I am currently serving on the Speakers & Entertainment
subcommittee for my service group Kiwanis. We are in charge
of booking speakers and entertainment for our District (Regional)
convention being held in Philadelphia in August , 2004.
In particular, I was charged with the task of developing a list
of motivational, inspirational, peppy type speakers that could
present during our convention. We are looking for speakers in
the non-profit sphere who might have a special story to share,
an inspirational message, or a motivational pitch that can really
get the audience moving. The age range for our crowd is
approx 18 yrs olds to 75 yr olds with most attendees falling
around 55 yrs old.
Any names you could give me of speakers you have personally experienced
or know about and any contact info would be great. It would help if they
reside in the Northeast area of the country. Our budget is not huge
(ie we cant afford a $4000 speaker) but anything in the low thousands
or hundreds is do-able.

exposure and play time but not money and would want to entertain us,
