As an Alum of Alpha Rho, I polled some of my fellow Alumni. The basic
concensus was, we've heard the story, but Alpha Rho does not seem to have
been involved with UMOC at the time. We take a lot of pride in our history
and traditions and the pledge manual is filled with all of our legacies
such as having three National President come from AP, keeper of the
world's largest Texas flag, etc. and we very boastful and proud of our
history as you can imagine; humble too : )
With that being said, if we could take credit for this story, we would
have by now, so we don't think that the chapter was involved. There is
going to be an alumni event in November, and the story will be passed
around for validity.
