Hi All,
Since I hardly ever post, I thought this would be a good time to. At my chapter (iota phi), each pledge fills out a questionaire and spends time with our family chairs (familes are a separate group within our chapter, since my chapter is so large, we have 3 groups (tight, loose, and close) and each family has a brother who is responsible in pairing up bigs and lils). After they spend time, we have a week we call secret week. during secret week, the new pledges spend time with the family (therefore getting to know the family better and the fraternity better) and the big bros give clues and gifts (if they wish) to the lil bros. these clues are suppose to help the pledge discover who their bigs are. After the week of fun, we have a day called REVEALING...in which the pledges get three chances to guess their big bro. its a lot of fun and a lot of mystery and trickery.
