From what I've seen, Mike, et. al., here are some ideas:
1. A survey to cover similar likes and interests can give some common ground
2.Try doing a personality test - not a 50 question snoozer but a more
general one, as personality types may be less likely to conflict than
similar interests.
3. See which rushies and brothers seem to connect without "making eyes at
each other".
4. Ask waht rushies are looking for from APO and then let the Pledgemaster
and his committee find the brother they think is likely to help them achieve
what they want to.
5. Be aware that some people are looking to be close to their bigs, others
need a willing guide, and still others are go-it-alone types that need
little guidance and may not be especially close to other brothers. Try to
get the borther that maximizes their participation and prepares them to be
the best brother.
