<P><SPAN style="COLOR: black">Well as many of you know, kids are going back to school!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>And as a result - we want them to learn about all sorts of new and exciting opportunities that await them in that world out there! </SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: black">For those of you that don't know me, my name is Jen O'Leary (S51, R6 Staff) and I am a high school teacher.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>One of the projects I am working on is bringing in speakers or setting up online chats as a way for our students to learn about new and interesting careers.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="COLOR: black">Only one problem!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I need people who are willing to talk about their careers!</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="COLOR: black">If you are local - as in the </SPAN><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place><SPAN style="COLOR: black">Chicago</SPAN></st1:place></st1:City><SPAN style="COLOR: black"> land coming in would mean about 2 hours talking to kids (about 30 each hour) and we would give you a gift of some sort and lunch!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>If you are a bit further away, what we would do is set up a time for an online chat for about 40-45 minutes and there would designated students or the teacher would type the questions - we would probably mail your gift though:)</SPAN></P><SPAN style="COLOR: black">
<P><SPAN style="COLOR: black">Some fields the students are interested in include video game design, automotive design, computer programming, anything have to pop culture, arts, tech etc! You name the career and there is probably someone interested!</SPAN></P>
