That reminds me...
Carter was Governor of Georgia at one point, so...
Zeta Sigma Chapter (University of Delaware) inducted Adlai Stevenson the
semester of our founding (Spring 1948). He was Governor of Illinois. I
don't know why he was inducted in Delaware.

Fall 1959. Boggs was a Delaware governor at the time & later a Senator (he
ran last in 1970 but dropped out at Biden's request; he was also really old
I believe, as he graduated from Delaware College- 1 of 2 UD predecessors- in
1903).
