Edward (or Edmund, not sure) Urner Goodman was an honorary or advisory =
member. He is the founder of the Order of the Arrow, now recognized by =
the BSA as "Scouting's National Honor Society" (since 1998) Founded to =
honor campers who best lived up to the Scout Oath & Law, it has always =
been regard as an organization of honor campers. It's 3 principles are =
brotherhhod, chererfulness, & service (close to APO :)).; and also like =
APO, it has a station at the National Jamborees (now usually) every 4 =
years. In fact, there are many similarities as it was founded in 1915 & =
became part of the BSA in 1948 (program experiment 1922, I think). Now, =
elections are done by troop. Many APO brothers are OA brothers, either =
active or inactive. More on the OA available at oa-bsa.org.

I am sure this has been asked before, but I am trying to find the =
biggest list of famous brothers of APO.
So far, I have:
Bill Clinton - Former President
Capt. James Lovell - Astronaut
James McLernon - President of VW of America
Mark Hatfield - Senator
Tom Daschle - Senator Minority Leader
John F. Kennedy - President of the United States (Honorary Member)
J. Edgar Hoover - FBI Director (Honorary Member)
Mike Garret - 1966 Heisman Trophy Winner
Tim Allen - Comedian
Any others?
In LFS,
Dan
