In my mind, the most appropriate study of this would be done by an extension effort/chapter at Shenandoah U. (in Winchester) as service to the fraternity as long as it wasn't too expensive. Given that Lafayette College has been very helpful in maintaining the history of Alpha Phi Omega's founding http://ww2.lafayette.edu/~library/special/Alpha/alphaaid.html , I believe it would be to the detriment of the National Fraternity to own any buildings other than our current office as part of maintaining our fraternity history.
