This semester, I met an APO-Phil Brother who was probably one of the first,
as he stopped being in Boy Scouts when the Japanese invaded the Phiippines.
He said that an APO-USA Brother can join the APO-Phil started groups. This
was relatively recent info since he addressed the AA of the East Coast in
NYC in 1995, I think and still gets the newsletters.
What region does the W. European AA vote in? I know that the Sons of the
American Revolution have devised an interesting way to deal with
international member voting. There are several foreign "State" Societies as
well as the International Society (all outside US except other foreign
Societies- divisions right below "National"). However, the difference here
is that there are no APO chapters outside the US & Philippines. Perhaps an
international AVD or lumping things together based on proximity (ie NE
Region, BSA includes VI, Transatlantic, & PR).
