Brothers,
A couple of weeks ago, Brother Ed Richter, National Membership & =
Extension Program Director, sent a checklist of end of the year =
reporting that your chapters need to complete. I'm sending this message =
as a reminder so that, as you get ready to head into finals, you can =
make sure you complete them. Please pass these along to your chapter =
president or other appropriate officer.
1. New Pledge/Active forms. If you did not send these in yet, you need =
to get them (and the appropriate monies) to the National Office. If you =
brought in a new pledge class this spring, or if you recently activated =
pledges, you want to make sure to get this in as soon as possible. =
Remember, *NO* individual is a member of Alpha Phi Omega until the forms =
and fees are transmitted to the National Office. If an individual =
participates in a pledge or initiation ceremony, they still aren't a =
member until the appropriate forms and fees are sent. If you are not =
certain about the status of any of your members, you can contact the =
National Office. These forms and fees are to be transmitted no later =
than ten (10) days following the ceremony. So, if you're behind, please =
take care of these right away.
2. Graduating Seniors Form. Please report all of the seniors who are =
graudating this spring (and any who may have graduated mid-year) to the =
national Office.
3. Accounts with the National Office. Please make sure that you do not =
owe the National Office for merchandise (pins, clothing, name tags, =
etc.) Believe me when I say that if you take care of this now, you will =
have much less of a headache this fall. Under new policies adopted by =
the National Convention, a chapter is not in good standing if it is more =
than 90 days delinquent in accounts with the National Office. =20
If you can take even 1 hour now before the end of the semester to make =
sure this is all done, you will save yourself MANY hours of frustration =
next fall trying to catch up.

pursue this summer.
